My photographic practice revolves around questions of perception, time, and the relationship between human beings and nature. My camera becomes a means of stillness — a way of exploring reality through attentive sensing, before it is named or explained.
I studied philosophy and social sciences at the University of Leipzig and now work as a teacher in Dresden. In my photographic work, I try to combine theoretical reflection with an open, intuitive gaze. My images can be seen as poetic approaches to what eludes clarity — as an attempt to return a sense of inner depth to the visible.
